Dr. Carl R. Trueman is  Professor of Historical Theology and Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, earned his M.A. at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge, 1988; his Ph.D. at University of Aberdeen, beginning in 1991 he was Lecturer in Theology, University of Nottingham, 1993–1998; Senior Lecturer in Church History, University of Aberdeen, 1998–2001; Editor, Themelios, 1998–2007; Council member, Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, 2004– ; He is a contributor to the Cambridge Companion to John Calvin.
Dr. Sean Michael Lucas is Associate Professor of Church History, Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis. Missouri.  He earned his B.A and M.A. from Bob Jones University and PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2002.  He is a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and a member of the Missouri Presbytery.  He has written On Being Presbyterian: Our Beliefs, Practices, and Stories  (P&R Publishing, 2006) and Robert Lewis Dabney: A Southern Presbyterian Life, American Reformed Biography series (P&R Publishing, 2005).  He was assistant pastor at The Covenant Presbyterian Church, St. Louis, MO and Community Presbyterian Church (PCA), Louisville, KY.

 

Dr. Frank A. James III, D. Phil, PhD, Professor of Historical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary/Orlando has given permission to post these special lectures entitled:  "The Calvin I Never Knew" to aid our preparation for the conference.

A Facebook Group called CVCRT has been formed, join this group to stay abreast of updates regarding the conference such as the news that a musical ensemble of about ten instrumentalists led by Bradford Smith and David Spicer will set a grand tone for the conference. Or discuss here elements of the conference like the information that local ministers will suggest which books they would recommend on various topics from Mr. Lee's great collection of aggressively priced Westminster Discount Books.
